Brand new and unbuilt.

An interesting example of a prototype Sd Kfz 234 bringing together the Sd Kfz 234/2 "Puma" hull and fitted with a Pz Kpfw II "Luchs" turret. The name "Puchs" appears to have been coined by Attack rather than having any basis in history.

The Puma was used extensively in the role of reconnaissance. It was built with a 12 cyclinder air cooled engine designed to allow it to serve in both the tropical climate of North Africa and the Steppes of Russia. Each Panzerspahwagen company consisted of 25 Pumas and these were allocated to 4 Panzer Divisions that fought on both the Eastern and Western fronts. 101 were produced between September 1943 and September 1944.

This is an ex-Roden kit with additional parts. New parts includes a new resin turret, metal gun barrel, metal 7.92mm machine gun and a resin crew figure.

Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a classic. Not to be missed.
