Antique Brass Door Handle

An unusual door / cabinet handle in the shape of a hand gripping a staff. It appears to be brass or similar metal in a bronzed style finish. This stylish decoration would look fabulous wherever you choose to display it. The handle appears to have some age to it although a modern screw is attached at the wrist. 

Item is approx 10cm[L] x 5cm[D] x 3cm[W] - The end is 2cm and the square hole is approx 1cm. 

Item is in vintage used condition with obvious signs of age, use, marks and wear. Some scuffs and dings to the knuckles. No makers mark and age and origin unknown. The modern screw can be turned to attach it to a spindle but I couldnt remove it, so will need attention or cutting to take it off. Please see pictures for condition before purchase, thank you.
