Up for sale is a classic Vintage Elkhart Band Instrument Co. (EBIC) Model 21A Alto Saxophone. This horn was manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana, circa 1956, by the renowned Buescher Band Instrument Co. It features a unique two-tone aesthetic with a gold lacquer body and contrasting nickel-plated key work.

Serial Number: 92081 (Circa 1956)
Engraving: Authenticated with the "Buck in a Heart" symbol and "Built by Buescher Elkhart IND" inscription on the bell.
Mechanical & Cosmetic Condition (Project Horn) This instrument is sold in as-is, unserviced vintage condition and is intended for a technician or restorer.
Function: All pads, corks, and felts are aged and require a full professional overhaul.
Broken Spring: A return spring is broken or missing in the low C/B/Bb key cluster. The key currently requires manual assistance to return; this is a standard repair for a technician.
Cosmetics: The lacquer shows significant wear, scratching, and patina consistent with a mid-century instrument. The nickel plating on the keys remains largely intact.
