🌲 Western Red Cedar Live Edge Slab Plank – Air-Dried, Milled from Our Surrey Woodland

These Western Red Cedar slab planks are milled from trees grown in our own Surrey plantation and carefully selected as part of ongoing woodland management. We only fell trees that are overcrowded and continuously replant to ensure the long-term health of the woodland.

Each plank is air dried and seasoned, retaining the beautiful scent, grain, and natural durability that Western Red Cedar is known for.

– Approx 120cm long

– Approx. 18–20cm wide

– Approx. 2cm thick

– Live (waney) edge on one side, straight cut on the other

– Option available for live edge on both sides

– Hand planked so will require sanding

All cedar is grown, felled, and milled by us at Hanging Wood on the North Downs of Surrey. Trees are selected carefully to improve woodland structure and health — nothing is clear-felled, and new trees are always planted.
