This auction features a 1:24th scale diecast of the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L-88 Stingray. The 1968 edition of the Vette was the first year for the Mako Shark Styling, as well as the pop-up headlights.

Classic American Sports Car, 9" long, is produced in exacting detail by Franklin Mint Diecast. It is in mint condition (no damage - has been kept in a secure showcase), with the info brochures and Hang Tag on the '68 Corvette (shown above) and comes in the original box (B11RH87). 

Vintage 'Vette is finished in authentic LeMans Blue, with black leather-look interior. This is a very detailed 1/24 heavy diecast model. It features opening doors, an opening hood (with hinge), & poseable steering and a Targa Top. Underhood detail is very nice, including plug leads & hoses on the 427 Big Block L-88 engine. (The T-Top sections are undamaged.) This muscle machine is a beautiful showpiece and displays well. It should make an excellent addition to your vintage "General Motors" or Chevy Corvette memorabilia or Franklin Mint diecast collectibles.
