I am the original owner of this hard drive.  I purchased it brand new from Western Digital.  It is not a refurbished drive.  I have always bought the black label series and have seen these drives run 40K plus hours without issues.  I used this to store important files that needed to be backed up.  I have since upgraded to a NAS system so no longer need it.  It has worked flawlessly and without issues and spent its life on a desktop.  This hard drive has a total of 2838 total hours of operation which is about 118 days.  Very low hours for this quality drive.Buy with confidence.
