Description of item for sale:
These solid oak heads are from France and date to the late 1800's. They were originally trim pieces on a gothic bench. They are hand carved and each is different in its individual expression. Overall they are in very good antique condition with only minor imperfections. Note that there are slight cracks in both heads and there is damage to their noses (see photos). Dimensions for each: 4" tall, 2.75" wide and 5.25" deep. (1331)
