For sale is a very nice Potosi mint 8 reales that was salvaged from the shipwreck of the Nuestra Senora de Atocha which sank off Key West in 1622. The coin comes with the original Treasure Salvors TSI tag, with ID number, but is missing the original full size COA. The coin was minted under the assayer initialed R, which is on the coin, along with the full denomination o-VIII. The coin is nearly full weight at 26.1 grams, very rare for shipwreck recovered coins.
