Unlike many suppliers on eBay who claim to be based in the UK all our parts stock is physically here at our workshops in Cornwall, so delivery to a UK address is potentially quicker.
If you make enquiries via the eBay platform for parts not listed we are obliged list any such items on eBay to conform to eBay rules. eBay fees are about 20% all-in so this has to be included in the selling price. Description
Left and Right are defined when sitting in the car. So for a UK RHD drive car, Right is the driver's side.
A window regulator assembly for the front R/H door for Senator B and Carlton 1987-94.
The item includes the black control box, motor, and window lift mechanism.
The whole assembly is removed by drilling out the four rivets which attach it to the door.
There are three different types of these regulator assemblies. We refer to them as Type 1, 2 and 3.
Type 1 = alloy motor, plug and control box separate, joined by by wires.
Type 2 = separate alloy motor but attached to control box/gear casing. Removable circuit board.
Type 3: motor, control box and gear all encased in black plastic. Removable circuit board.
They are all interchangeable, but only as a complete unit. On the front door assemblies, the motor and control box can be removed from the regulator frame on Types 1 and 2. This saves you drilling out the rivets and changing the whole thing, provided that the regulator assembly you buy is the same type as that fitted to your car. You can't do this easily on the rears because of the wire wound around the drum.
On Types 2 and 3, the circuit board can be removed, and if this is faulty, it can be changed thus saving drilling out the whole assembly. But we won't sell just the board as it is difficult to guarantee that it will still work after being removed and fitted into another unit.
This item has been tested, is in good working order and is guaranteed for three months.
Note: if all four of your windows stop working simultaneously, it is probably the centre console switches that are faulty -I can supply these (see my other Shop listings). Another source of problems are the joints in the red power wires that run under the carpet in the front LH footwell; they corrode.Application

Which side is which?Offside and nearside are confusing to many; the car manufacturers use Left and Right to avoid confusion. L/H and R/H sides of the car are seen as you sit in it, i.e L/H is passenger/nearside (in UK) and R/H is driver/offside. Vauxhall/Opel parts are often marked R or L to avoid confusion
