If you want your garden to be a favorite stopping off place for butterflies and hummingbirds, the Buddleias are a must have. They are an easy-to-grow flowering shrub that establishes quickly and usually blooms the first season.
Profuse, fragrant blooms that smell like lilacs are born in big panicles at the ends of long, flexible arching stems, hence the common name Summer Lilac, though the species is unrelated to Lilacs.
Buddleias grow in a variety of colors, from dark, almost black purples, pale pastel blue and pink-toned lavenders, and golden, buttery yellows and brilliant white. Flowers are rich in nectar and irresistible to butterflies and hummingbirds. White Profusion is a reliable, heirloom hybrid that tends to bloom early and profusely.
Buddleias are moderately cold tolerant and are recommended for Zones 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Generally, well-established plants will freeze to the ground in Zones 5-7 and resprout in the Spring but are evergreen elsewhere.
A few locations have concerns about the potential invasiveness of the old original Buddleia davidii species, and although these restrictions do not apply to sterile hybrids, we do not ship any Buddlieas to Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Plants should be removed from the packaging the day they are delivered. The moisture gel used to keep the plant hydrated during transit should also be removed and discarded. We recommend repotting 4-inch starter plants into 6 to 10-inch diameter pots, allowing the root zone to mature and grow larger before setting them out into the landscape.
Limited Conditional Warranty: Plants are guaranteed to arrive at the address stated in the order in good and healthy condition and to be the species and cultivar described in the listing (within recognized industry tolerances). No other additional or extended warranties or guarantees of fitness for any particular purpose, growth, or survival beyond healthy arrival are expressed or implied.
Warranty Limitations & Exclusions:
Claims must be received within 24 hours of delivery and before plants are planted.
Claims must be accompanied by photos of the complete plant as it was received, the box, and address label.
Delivery to an incorrect or undeliverable address is excluded from this Warranty.
Plants purchased for resale and/or drop-shipped without our knowledge and permission are specifically excluded.
Failure to provide timely notice or proceeding with planting before providing notice voids this Warranty.
Remedy under this warranty is strictly limited to either replacement or refund of the purchase price at our discretion. A full-text detailed copy of our Warranty is included in the package and also available upon request.
Returns: Returns cannot be accepted due to Agricultural Regulations.
Placement of an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
