| Bizen ware is a traditional Japanese pottery that becomes more beautiful the more you use it. Each piece develops its own unique character over time, becoming truly your own personal vessel. Bizen ware is characterized by its wide range of uses: When used as a vase, its natural water-retaining properties can help flowers last longer. Crafted using centuries-old traditional techniques, Bizen ware brings timeless beauty and practicality to your life. Product status As you can see in the photos, the item is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The artist's signature is engraved on the bottom. [About Bizen ware] Bizen ware is known for its natural beauty, which is achieved by firing it at high temperatures without applying glaze. Sand and stones contained in the lime soil may appear on the surface during firing. The iron content in the soil may cause black spots or streaks to appear. When fired at high temperatures, the clay shrinks, which can cause slight distortions in the pottery. Sometimes, grains of sand can rise to the surface, appearing as fine cracks. These characteristics are part of the unique "texture" of Bizen ware and are not defects. Please understand this before purchasing. Please check the photos carefully for details.
