Zouave jackets became very popular in the 1880s and 1890s for women to emulate as an addition to their wardrobe. This jacket is over 130 years old and can easily and even casually be worn as the velvet is generally in very good condition and the lining is a sturdy buckram cotton. I see faint signs of wear to the velvet on the back of one underarm, hardly recognizable. All the trims are intact and in good condition as well. bust 36 and waist 34 with a length in front of 16 inches.
I do not accept returns due to poor fit or buyers remorse so please view all photos, fully read the description and ask any questions prior to purchase, thanks!
