This is an early 2011 MacBook Pro with Core i7 processor.

This machine powers on and makes the "missing RAM" beeps. I did attempt to install RAM, but still nothing showed up on the screen. I don't hear a startup chime, but you can hear the disk drive activating upon giving it power via the MagSafe cable. Fans kick on as soon as it receives MagSafe power, and the front indicator light is on, as well as the battery indicator light.

The power button on the keyboard works for turning the device off. I did no further testing on this unit.

As you can see in the photo, there is no RAM, no HDD, no battery installed in this device. It is being sold as-is for parts or repair. Let me know if you have any questions!!
