Jadis are back with a strong new studio album

8 years have gone by since Jadis released their last album with new songs with “No Fear of Looking Down”. In 2024 they presented their 9th CD album with 7 brand new tracks.
The album impresses with melodics, vocals and orchestration. It convinces with a strong mixture of sensitive, epic, rocky and uptempo parts. Central point of the album again is mastermind Gary Chandler with excellent guitar work, several great solos and his typical voice. Martin Orford on keyboards, flute, cittern and background vocals plays a much bigger role than on the preceding album. Bass player Andy Marlow was producer, sound engineer and mixer. The mastering was done by John Mitchell.
The best tracks of this album for me are “Do You Know”, “From All Sides”, “Said and Done” and “Fading Truth”. You can listen to all songs of this album on jadismusic.bandcamp.com. The album has received very positive ratings in music reviews.

8 Jahre sind vergangen seit Jadis mit “No Fear of Looking Down” ihr letztes Album mit neuen Songs herausbrachten. 2024 präsentierten sie ihr 9. CD-Album mit 7 brandneuen Stücken.
Das Album beeindruckt durch Melodik, Gesang und Instrumentierung. Es überzeugt durch eine starke Mischung aus einfühlsamen, epischen, rockigen und temporeichen Abschnitten. Im Mittelpunkt des Albums steht wieder Mastermind Gary Chandler mit hervorragender Gitarrenarbeit, mehreren tollen Soli und seiner typischen Stimme. Martin Orford kommt mit Keyboards, Flöte, Zitter und Backgroundgesang viel besser zur Geltung als auf dem vorherigen Album. Bassist Andy Marlow war Toningenieur, Mixer und Produzent. Das Mastering erfolgte durch John Mitchell.
