This is a true tribute to the singer-songwriters, performers, and composers in the history of Italian music, with a broader scope that also includes songs in foreign languages that have a special connection to Italy: from Ana Carolina's Portuguese adaptation of La Mia Storia Tra Le Dita, to a hit by Tribalistas, Já Sei Namorar, whose front woman and songwriter, Marisa Monte, has Italian roots; from the French version of Due Vite by Marco Mengoni to the German, Portuguese, and English adaptations of Il Cielo In Una stanza by Gino Paoli, originally sung by Mina; all the way to a tribute to one of the greatest pop stars of all time, Madonna-also of Italian descent-whom Laura honors by reinterpreting the evergreen La Isla Bonita.
