This is a framed piece of original art by Pattie Dodd, or Patricia Beaton Dodd. It is mixed media collage and paint in a glassless frame and cream colored mat. The frame is walunt veneer with gold metal strips on the face of the frame. It never had glass. The outside of the frame measures 22" x 28" x 1". The exposed art measures 14" x 19". Pattie Dodd had an art exhibition at the Portland Art Museum in 1959. She was part of a 4 artist show with Leonard Kimbrell, Nelson Sandgren, and Richard Newstrum. She was active in one woman shows throughout Portland in museums and galleries in the mid-20th century. Her art is also a part of the Saward Art Collection at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland, Oregon. She lived from 1929 to 2019. This lovely piece is titled "Rainbow Visions." It is signed on the back. There are a few stains on the mat and one very small scratch. It displays very well. The vintage is around 1950.
