RARE 1920s NOMA “A Merry Christmas” Electric Tree Topper 6 Light Star
Description
Rare early electric Christmas tree topper manufactured by NOMA (National Outfit Manufacturers Association) in the late 1920s.
This nickel-plated metal topper features six miniature bulb sockets arranged in a star formation and a long metal spike for mounting at the top of the tree. The center hub is stamped “A Merry Christmas.”
Early cloth wiring with threaded connector allows the topper to attach directly to a period NOMA light string.
These toppers represent some of the earliest electric Christmas decorations made for home use, produced during the transition from candles to electric lights in American Christmas traditions.
A scarce and desirable piece for collectors of vintage Christmas lighting and early NOMA decorations.
