This vintage wedding dress from Nora's is a stunning, romantic example of classic bridal elegance with strong Victorian-inspired or late Edwardian/early 20th-century revival influences, likely from the 1980s or 1990s when such opulent, historical-revival styles were popular.

Fits my modern size 4 mannequin perfectly.

FEATURES

• Dress can be BUSTLED

• Likely polyester satin

A fitted corset-style bodice with structured boning, creating a dramatic hourglass silhouette. The bodice is richly adorned with lace appliqués, featuring scalloped patterns, floral motifs, and subtle beading & sequins that catch the light beautifully.

• The skirt flows into a full, voluminous ball gown shape with a gathered or tiered underskirt, crafted from luxurious ivory or champagne satin (smooth and lustrous with a subtle sheen)

• A standout element is the large, dramatic sash/bow at the waist or slightly below, accented with roses or fabric blooms, for added romance and focal drama.

• The hem features wide, sweeping lace appliqués along the scalloped edge that extend onto the train, giving it an ethereal, heirloom quality. The train appears long and full, with soft pleating or gathering for movement.

CONDITION: Very good with only possibly a few missing pearls here and there, and the interior of the bodice seems to have been repaired with a basting stitch.  Not visible when worn.  I see no stains or marks under the arms.
