DESCRIPTION OF TOP WAIST BODICE
Victorian turn of the century day dark green wool waist bodice with beaded trim on neckline and over the shoulder collar edge. Adorned with large leg-o-mutton sleeves. Loop and eye closure in front below neck line. Lined in printed cotton.

CONDITION
In overall fair wearable antique condition. No discoloration, no underarm discoloration or fading, and strong and sturdy. Few scattered small moth bites. Lining has no damage. Seam separation in front pleating. Any brown discoloration on coat is just camera flash.

LEFT CAPE
Victorian 1880s evening taffeta cape worked in many beaded lapels and pleated ruffles around neckline. Standup collar at back neckline and large bow with streamers in front. Loop and eye closure in front below neck line. Lined in robin egg blue satin, and with serrated edge pleated tiered ruffles at base.

In overall excellent wearable antique condition. No discoloration, damage or fading, and strong and sturdy. Lining has no damage. Any brown discoloration on coat is just camera flash.

MIDDLE CAPE
Belle Epoque Victorian ladies fancy black lavishly tiered macrame knotted fringed high society cape, mantle or capelet, dating to the 1880 to 1890's. Embellishing with gathered and pleated wide satin ribbon to the front and back on either side of front opening. Black satin loining. Hook and loop closure on front center.

CONDITION
In very good wearable condition no discoloration or fringe loss, and strong and sturdy. Wear to inner lining around neckline and hand sewn to stabilize lining. Elastic streamers added to close at neckline. Any brown discoloration on coat is just camera flash.

Length from front shoulder to hem 17 inches.

RIGHT CAPE
This Victorian ladies black ribbed satin cape is adorned with fancy flat braided ornamental passementerie trim around neckline collar with large bow sewn to back collar and dates to the 1890s.
Cape has a copper/green moire lining with two hook and eye closure in front below collar. Hand stitched cape.

CONDITION
In overall very good wearable antique condition. No damage and with few small stains on inside lining.
