Dinosaur Bone

Polished

 Very nice polished Dinosaur bone - bone  has red/pink color cells and some calcite cells in the center, with black webbing.  It is not UV Reactive. A nice looking specimen for your collection.

 Measurements are about:   2 inches x 1 inch inch on the polished face and 1 3/4 inch at tallest, weighs 4 oz. 

Jurassic Dinosaur Bone is found in the Brushy Basin Member in the Morrison Formation that were deposited in the Jurassic Time Period about 140 million years ago. Different types of fossils are found in different geological formations. The types of fossils found in a particular region depend on the age of the rocks that are currently eroding at the surface.
