Large, Heavy, Vintage Mid-Century Westmoreland Milk Glass "Wedding Box" or Covered Candy Dish with Original Tag.

It is a collectible item, made of milk glass by Westmoreland and was produced in the 1950s.

The dish stands on a pedestal base and features a square-shaped body with a decorative lid.

It was traditionally given to the bride with a piece of wedding cake inside. Thus the name Wedding Dish or Wedding Box.

Item stands approximately 9 3/4 inches tall with the lid on. Without the lid,  it is approximately 6 3/4 inches tall. The box is approximately 5 inches square and the base is approximately 3 1/4 inches square. It is a vert heavy item weighing nearly 4 pounds.

Item is in very good previously displayed condition free of chips and cracks. Item still has the original Westmoreland Tag.
