EDWARDIAN LADIES WOVEN STRAW HAT, CIRCA 1915 - 1918
Ladies Edwardian woven straw hat trimmed with millinery red rose bud flowers, silk ribbon bow arrangements and supported by inner wires. This hat was worn on top of the head and would have been held in place with hat pins. Brown velvet under brim. Hat is in very good sturdy condition for its age, with minor age related conditions and in original condition no alterations. No designer labels. A great addition to one's hat collection and in wearable condition.
CONDITION
The
hat is in overall very good structural condition. No repairs, no
holes, no fading of material, no stain damage. No damage
to straw weaving. Good Wearable condition. Inner adjustable draw
string gathered cotton lining has many very small old age storage
spots.
