Here is a beautiful 1938 Corona Sterling 2A-Series glossy maroon, dark cherry red manual typewriter. The typewriter is in very good condition.

I'm not an expert, just a big fan. I like to rescue, and clean them up. Play a little bit, admire, then find new homes.

I cleaned it up a little. All knobs and levers seem to be in working condition. A few keys are sticky. The carriage moves smoothly, then it will stop. I'm not sure if I had it set correctly. I did put in a new ribbon to test it. It needs an expert cleaning and a tune-up by someone that knows more than me.

This lovely will make an excellent addition to your collection. Or, assist in the writing of your next novel!

There are a few imperfections on the lid. And some corrosion on the key mechanisms. This typewriter has no case.
