The 2-euro commemorative coin "City of Pula – Arena" is issued as part of the "Croatian Cities" series, with commemorative motifs representing the Pula Arena, a prominent monument of ancient architecture in the city of Pula, of rich historical and cultural significance for the Republic of Croatia and the world. The depiction of the Pula Arena was one of the main motifs on the reverse of the 10-kuna banknote.
