 style POST MORTEM CARD or MEMORIAM CARD of:

AUGUST MESCHKE, 

born July 8, 1848-died Aug. 25, 1898 at age 50 yrs. 1 month, and 17 days

Also, assumably his wife..  HENRIETTE MESCHKE, 

Born Feb. 6, 1850, died Jan. 17, 1916 at age 65 years, 11months and 11 days. 

The tiny cameo photographs of August and Henriette are original and are attached to the card as an original part of the card.   

Very tiny, at the bottom of this card is listed 

"Copyright 1903 by H. F. Wendell, Leipsic, O."

 (meaning OHIO).

   With that in mind, the possibility exists that the Meschke couple were from 

OHIO

Condition: The card is in excellent condition.  

Approximate size of this card  is 4 1/4" X 6 1/2"
