Rare Antique German Cast Iron Santa Claus Christmas Tree Stand. According to our research, it is likely from the first quarter of the 20th century or earlier. The stand has a hand-painted Santa figure with a basket-shaped tree holder on a base that looks like a rocky landscape with tree stumps. The paint shows age-related wear. Knobs turn freely. 9.5" square and 7" tall. Very impressive piece.
