Ventriloquism c.1913 Indian Playbill Starring “Mont Dean and The Block Headed Family…Assisted By Miss Marjorie”

A c.1913 playbill for the Grand Opera House in Calcutta starring “Mont Dean and The Block Headed Family” which notes “The Mechanical Doll and the American Texas Tomy Dance”. Printed by The Clive Electrical Printing Works in Calcutta, and illustrated. The Tommy Dance had recently become a great hit with the American public, apparently originating in San Francisco.

Undated, though from a small group of posters from this period.

Approx. 200x460mm., a couple of small peripheral tears (up to 20mm at the foot) and creasing/folds.
