Offering an elegant vintage silverplate carafe or wine trivet in its original box made in France by Christofle. Part of Christofle's Gallia Collection. The box is marked Rosace and 42 22 010. The piece is rounded, with curlicues, and measures 14 cm across or about 5 1/2". No monogram or engraving. Marked Christofle France and "Coll Gallia." In very good, firm condition. Plating is intact. The box shows wear from storage and use.

The Gallia Collection dates to the 19th Century. Christofle is currently marketing this piece as vintage and selling it for $350.00.
