Antique Brass Sealing Wax Stamp, Collectible, Belgium, 1930s.

 

I present an antique brass seal with a wooden handle, the personal stamp of Silbermann, legal translator for the Brussels Tribunal. The brass cylinder, 35 mm in diameter, is inscribed in French: "DE SILBERMANN TRADUCTEUR LEGAL DE LA COUR ET DU TRIBUNAL (BRUXELLES) * L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE," which translates as "Silbermann, legal translator for the Brussels Tribunal * Unity is Strength."

 

This seal is ideal for collectors of historical vintage items and can be used as a stylish decorative piece on your desk.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition: wooden handle, finish unscratched, polished by time; engraving on brass cylinder is clearly legible, undamaged. The photo shows a mirror image of the engraving, allowing it to be read with the naked eye. This item is offered as a decorative and collectible item.
