Gage Wood, RHP

Drafted: Philadelphia Phillies, 1st round, 26th overall

Status: Signed for $3 million (slot value: $3.49 million)

Wood became the first Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Phillies. The 6-0, 205-pound Batesville native skyrocketed in MLB Draft projections with a strong NCAA Tournament that included a 19-strikeout no-hitter at the College World Series. His 119-pitch outing came in a 3-0 victory over Murray State with the Razorbacks facing elimination. It was the first no-hitter at the CWS in 65 years. Wood throws one of the highest-touted fastballs in his draft class, which sits around 94-96 mph and reaches 98 mph. He also has a curveball that LSU coach Jay Johnson called one of the nation's best this year. He allowed 4 runs with 32 strikeouts and 2 walks over 18 1/3 postseason innings pitched.

Wehiwa Aloy, SS

Drafted: Baltimore Orioles, 1st round (Competitive Balance), 31st overall

Status: Signed for $3.04 million (slot value $3.04 million)

Aloy became the second Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Orioles. He was the Razorbacks' third winner of the Golden Spikes Award with a 2025 season that included a .350 batting average, 1.107 OPS, 21 home runs, 19 doubles, 81 runs scores and 68 RBI. He had a .978 fielding percentage with 5 errors in 229 total chances. Aloy was also the SEC Player of the Year and a finalist for the Brooks Wallace Award and Dick Howser Trophy.

Zach Root, LHP

Root became the third Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Dodgers. After transferring from East Carolina, the left-hander had a first team All-SEC season with the Razorbacks in 2025. He started a team-high 19 games and had a 3.62 ERA in 99 1/3 innings pitched. Root struck out 126 and walked 35, and opponents batted .220 against him.

Charles Davalan, OF

Drafted: Los Angeles Dodgers, Competitive Balance Round A, 41st overall

Davalan became the fourth Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Dodgers. After transferring from Florida Gulf Coast, he had a first team All-SEC season with the Razorbacks in 2025 with a .346 batting average, 93 hits, 14 home runs, 12 doubles, 60 RBI, 10 stolen bases and 71 runs scored. Davalan, who bats left-handed and throws right, was a second team All-America selection by ABCA/Rawlings, NCBWA and Perfect Game.

Christian Foutch, RHP

Foutch became the fifth Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Red Sox. He recorded a 3.81 ERA in 56 2/3 innings with 60 strikeouts and 29 walks over his 3 seasons with the Razorbacks. Aiden Jimenez, RHP

After transferring from Ohio State last offseason, Beidelschies made 13 starts and 19 appearances for the Razorbacks in 2025. He recorded a 4.82 ERA with 70 strikeouts, 20 walks and an opponent .255 average in 61 2/3 innings pitched.

Brent Iredale, 3B

Drafted: Pittsburgh Pirates, 7th round, 203rd overall

Iredale became the eighth Arkansas player off the board with his selection by the Pirates. In his lone season with the Razorbacks after two years at New Mexico Junior College, Iredale batted .286 with 14 home runs, 11 doubles and 57 RBI. He had a .950 fielding percentage. Iredale was the team leader in walks (46) and hit-by-pitches (21).

He began his career at Georgia and played one season at Florida SouthWestern State before transferring to the Razorbacks last offseason. He batted .303 with 9 home runs, 6 doubles and 38 RBI in 2025. Thomas slashed a team-leading .571/.571/.643 at the College World Series and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Grego became the first transfer addition for Arkansas this offseason to be taken off the board with his selection by the Padres. The Ball State transfer committed to the Razorbacks on June 24. Grego was named a third-team All-American at shortstop by the American Baseball Coaches Association and was first-team all-MAC as a junior in 2025. The 6-1, 195-pound switch hitter started every game for the Cardinals and slashed 376/.429/.624 with 14 home runs and 55 RBI. His 91 hits were third-most in a season in Ball State history.
