“A Bizarre Collection of Antiques & Curios” – the subtitle of Pink Floyd’s “Relics” says it all. In 2018, the British rock legends are releasing their first compilation album again, completely remastered on LP.“Relics” was originally released in 1971. It contains a collection of songs from the studio albums "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", "A Saucerful Of Secrets" and "More" as well as various rarities, including singles and B-sides that had never previously appeared on an album.
The Roger Waters song “Biding My Time” was also released for the first time on “Relics”.
For the reissue of the album, James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman remastered all tracks.
The cover is a remake of Nick Mason's original, featuring a drawing of a fictional, futuristic musical instrument.
