With its long, drawn-out versions of classic Golden Earring songs (ranging from 5 to 12 minutes each), this album is quite different from the band's other live recordings. It is also one of only three albums where guitarist Eelco Gelling was a band member, adding a new dimension to the band's sound. This album also highlights Golden Earring's strong rhythm section on upbeat songs like "Mad Love's Comin'" and "Radar Love."

Live will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2022 and will therefore be remastered from the original master tapes for the first time. This 2LP is available as a 45th Anniversary Edition with 2000 individually numbered copies.
