Description of item for sale:
This highly carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. This was once a panel on a large French cabinet. It is made from walnut and pine finished to a warm dark (almost black) color. The carvings are very well done and very intricate. Note that there are slight chips on the edges of the panel and some woodworm holes (see photos). Overall it is in good antique condition with minor nicks and scratches. Dimensions: 29.25" tall, 13.75" wide and 1.5" thick. (9138 9)
