Condition: Rich tonal image, tarnishing at edges, gilt mat shows tarnishing, only half of case is present, hand applied highlights to white lace on woman’s collar and gold jewelry.
Other: Very handsome portrait of a husband and wife with the gentleman showing a less common pose with arm about the wife’s shoulders. Nicely highlighted lace around woman’s collar. Original tapes intact but lacking the front half of the leather 6th plate “Eagle in Flight” case. Acquired in East Central New York State.
