Vintage Apple 17” Studio Display – See-Through CRT (Model M7768, EMC 1855)

Condition is fair for its age. This is an old monitor from the year 2000 — the last CRT display Apple ever produced.

There are scratches and scuffs, and some small bite-like marks on one of the plastic corners. The screen surface also has scratches.

The item was originally used in an office building by a London-based company and then stored away for about 20 years. I believe it could make a great restoration project, as very few of these monitors remain today. It could be perfect for a shop display, a creative project (like converting it into an aquarium), or potentially repaired by an enthusiast to continue working for many years.

I am not sure about its functionality. I am not familiar with old CRT monitors and will not attempt any repairs. Therefore, I am selling it strictly as not working or for parts.

No returns will be accepted for reasons such as it not functioning, missing components, or a failed repair attempt.

The monitor will be professionally packaged and shipped by courier. It weighs around 25 kg on its own.

If the buyer prefers, I can remove the stand before shipping to help secure it better during transport.
