Every anniversary year an album is released that not only changes the rules of the game, but also the entire game, thereby opening up completely new possibilities for music. In late '60s America, "The Velvet Underground & Nico" was one such record. And in the UK it was released on the 16th. June 1972 was another one with ROXY Music's debut album.

45 years after its initial release, with the band's approval and cooperation, there is now the opportunity to relive the album and follow the development of ROXY Music.

Each ROXY Music album has been reissued with a new half-speed recording by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. In order to reflect the audio quality, the artwork of all eight ROXY Music studio albums was revised and provided with a shiny lamination, so that every album is not just a plate, but a work of art.
