Installation method:
- Preparation in advance: Clean the edges of the car door: Wipe the edges of the car door with a clean cloth to remove dust, oil stains, and debris, ensuring that the installation surface is clean and dry, so that the rubber strip can adhere better.
- Check components: Confirm that the specifications and dimensions of the stainless steel metal strip match those of the rubber strip, inspect its surface for smoothness, deformation, damage, or other issues. At the same time, clean the installation area of the car door again to ensure that there are no debris or dust.
- Start installation: Align one end of the rubber strip with the inner stainless steel metal strip at the starting position of the door sealing groove, then slowly move and press the rubber strip along the sealing groove, so that the rubber strip and the inner metal strip are tightly adhered to the sealing groove.
- When encountering corners and bends, carefully bend the rubber and metal strips according to the contour of the car door to fit the shape of the door.During the installation process, it is important to check if the metal strip is always in the correct position and not displaced or deformed.
