This milestone documents the last PINK FLOYD tour in 1994.
The recordings were made during their 14 concert evenings at London's Earls Court, setting a record for the band. The double CD contains the complete concert program.
There are many reasons why "Pulse" is absolutely desirable, the most important being that this is the first time that the innovative and epochal album "Dark Side Of The Moon" has been filmed as a live performance - performed in all its glory by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright in the second half of the concert and can therefore be found on the second disc. The first half of the concert on Disc 1 contains classics such as "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)", "One Of These Days" and "Keep Talking".
The live classic on vinyl
The rock legends Pink Floyd are re-issuing their second concert album “Pulse” in 2018 on vinyl.
The recordings for the live double album were made on the "The Division Bell" tour in 1994, more precisely between August and October at concerts in London, Rome, Modena and Hanover with the line-up David Gilmour (guitar, vocals), Nick Mason (drums, percussion), Richard Wright (keyboards, vocals) and Guy Pratt (bass, vocals).
What's special: »Pulse« collected live recordings from the entire album »The Dark Side Of The Moon« for the first time.
Now the milestone is available in an elaborate vinyl box with four 180 g LPs. All tracks were remastered from the original tapes for the reissue by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. The artwork was recreated by Aubrey Powell (Hipgnosis) alongside Peter Curzon, who contributed to the original cover.
The “Pulse” package is rounded off by a 52-page hardcover book with photos.
Once again an absolute highlight for all record lovers among Pink Floyd fans: the live album “Pulse” in an impressive vinyl box.
