A gorgeous , mindblowing vintage piece that looks handmade / custom made

This can be worn as a maxi skirt or a tube dress since the back is elasticized at upper border

Made of gorgeous black velvet with body to it, the front is stunning with multicolor embroidery of a peacock & flowers in handembroidered, what i believe is called crewel work & rare to find these days

The crewel work is amazing with raised 3 D effect on the base velvet

And the scale of the peacock is absolutely mindblowing ….huge & splayed out over the entire front

Then there are the flowers, the little birds

The colors are to die for too ….a very unusual combination of blue & greens & yellow with bits of red & pink!
