Stovetop instructions bring 2 cups water and ¼ tsp salt to a boil. Slowly stir in ⅔ cup oat bran cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 2 servings. Microwave instructions combine ⅓ cup oat bran cereal, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt. Stir well. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. stir. Let stand in the microwave for 3 minutes. Makes 1 serving. Slow cooker instructions combine 1½ cups water, ⅔ cup oat bran cereal and ¼ tsp salt in the slow cooker. Stir well. Cook on low for 1 hour. Makes 2 servings.
