* Here is a great example of the Mamod RS4 Princess of Wales Train Set in UNUSED condition. I bought this years ago and have just had it stored away. Before storing away I removed the box of fuel tablets, as from previous experience these tended to disintegrate and ruin the packaging and/or content.

* Made in England by Mamod. "O" Gauge. (32mm).  This Set was released in 1981 "To commemorate the marriage of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, Wednesday 29th July 1981".

* As you can see in the photos the set it is in great condition. 

* The Set is complete (apart from the fuel tablets) and comprises of:

1) SL4 Princess of Wales Locomotive in maroon livery. Unfired and excellent. Removable rear cab panel has the special plaque on the inside.

2) RW1 Open Wagon.

3) RW2 Lumber/Log Wagon.

4) 20 sections of Mamod track - 16 curves and 4 straights.

5) Burner, Coupling hook, funnel and lubricating oil.

6) Instruction booklet and Mamod steam models leaflet.

 7) Original packaging - with the original Special Lid insert ~ Polystyrene base (small chips/marks to base - photo 24) and card window lid. The plastic window is complete. Mamod used the RS1 box and just had a sticker placed over the RS1 saying 'Princess RS4' - photos 20 & 21.

Please note - one end panel has splits and the corners taped - I have tried to highlight this in photo 21 ~ this could be improved with some attention.

* The Loco measures approximately: 9.5 inches (long) by 4 inches (wide) and 6 inches high.
