These beautiful carved folding teakwood book stands were brought back from Australia by my late uncle at the end of World War II. They were carved and finished by Polynesian artisans. They are in like-new condition, having been in storage for over 75 years. The wood is very solid and heavy. They would be perfect for use in a church or legal office or library to display bibles, legal tomes or dictionaries. They deserve to be seen and appreciated!
