Offered
here is a TRUE VINTAGE "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" BOBA FETT
action figure. His back is embossed, "Copyright CPG PRODUCTS CORP. 1979
BY ITS DIV. KENNER PRODUCTS....CAT. NO. 39140. MADE IN HONG KONG." It is
LOOSE, with NO BOX. This was part of the LARGE, 12 inch
series of figures. (Although he is actually closer to 14 inches tall.)
It is NOT complete. Includes ONLY his belt, and PART of his backpack.
The backpack is MISSING the grappling hook and one of the bottom / side jets.
The figure is in mostly in FAIR to GOOD condition. NOTE: There is some
melting where the soft plastic hands
connect to the hard plastic forearms. (Toy collectors will be familiar
with this chemical reaction.) As a result, THE HANDS ARE FUSED, AND DO
NOT MOVE AT THE
WRISTS. One hand as partly detached. (See close-up with pencil point.)
If you try to move the wrists, the hands will come loose. The
articulation at the LEFT elbow is very loose. The other points of
articulation are pretty good. There are a couple of melt marks on his
left leg. (See close-up.) There is a little yellowing to the plastic on
his gray pants. The figure still displays pretty well, and is guaranteed
to be old & original, or your money back.
