• This appears to be an antique ink bottle tin - specifically, a J. G. C. Wachler’s ink or writing fluid tin from around the late 19th to early 20th century.
  • Containers like this were used for writing ink or sometimes shoe polish, but the “Guaranteed Highest Quality” and elaborate crest suggest an ink or pigment product aimed at professionals or fine stationery users.
  • “M. Sachelberghe”? on the label may have been used on European ink brands.
  • While there is not a lot of information about this tin, it is unique and quite a conversation piece!
  • Measures approx. 3" x 3" x 3 3/4"

Resellers, Tax Exempt Notice!

We know that the new internet state sales tax rules are a pain for everyone.  However, it is important to note that eBay is now allowing your tax exempt status on the site (important for people who have it).

Per Ebay:

"If you are exempt from paying sales tax on your eBay purchases, visit ebay.com/salestax to learn more about our buyer exemption program for tax-exempt buyers (e.g. charitable entities, resellers, etc.)."
