Here's a real cute little miniature antique teapot figural brass pocket inkwell from the 1870s or 1880s....complete with original hand blown glass inkwell bottle inside!...tiny 1 1/2"tall nickel plated brass teapot has soldered handle & tiny pour spout...a button on side opens the top half to expose the inside...another nickel plated cover inside is spring loaded to seal against the top of the glass inkwell inside. The cover still pops open under spring pressure when a little lever is pushed....The little clear glass ink bottle is hand blown with flat smooth base...ground sheared mouth...only 7/8"tall x 1"round...perfect condition with no chips or damage. Everything is in excellent condition with only a tiny dent in side of teapot & a slight dent on very bottom. the outer button still works, but sometimes you have to help pull the cover open. The little catch inside probably needs to just be adjusted slightly....This is a very scarce little antique teapot inkwell from the 1800s. It is a non spilling traveler's inkwell that could be carried in one's pocket or purse.....
