Just a little history of this Lionel train collection, to give you an idea how vintage they are.

I’ll be 59 in December, and this stuff all belonged to my grandpa who was a ww11 fighter pilot and came home an American hero, opened up a toy store downtown in the early1950s and started collecting mostly Lionel train stuff and built the biggest train track and collection of train memorabilia that has ever been seen , at least on this side of the country. Also, because he was a toy store owner, he had suppliers who would give him all the newest and best accessories to showcase in his store.

He just kept building it and building it until he didn’t have anymore room , even then he still kept stockpiling anything and everything he could , pretty much until the day he died, then he left it all to me .

I’m talking stuff that most people have never seen or heard of before, even avid collectors were jealous of his collection.

I just am not interested in it , so I rounded up everything , and iI am selling it all in one huge lot.

So whoever gets this collection will be very happy.

Just as an update, I have been adding all the train stuff to this collection as I go through my grandfathers estate, Im. It trying to sell this stud piece by piece, and I’ve added a long wooden passenger car, a small box of little people, some train frames with wheels, and a 3 or 4 different types of magazines .

Just so you know, if you’re waiting around for me to lower the price again, you’ll be waiting for NOTHING!.

If anything, I will raise the price back to what it should be. It’s not like I need the money or anything.

P.s, It will take at least three large boxes to ship all this stuff, so that is why the shipping cost is so high

I don’t know a whole lot about these old train sets, so I admit that I could be way off on my pricing , so if someone were to make me a reasonable offer I would definitely consider it
