No Power Source required
Case Dimensions
These measurements help you determine if the movement will fit your clock case or dial:
- Front Diameter: 1-3/4"
- Back Diameter: 1-9/16"
- Thickness: 11/16"
Shaft Details
The shaft goes through the back of your dial and holds the movement in place with a mounting nut. Choose the right shaft length based on your dial thickness and whether your clock has a glass cover.
- Short Shaft: Threaded Length: 3/8" - Total Length: 1/2"
- Medium Shaft: Threaded Length: 9/16" - Total Length: 7/8"
Tip: If the shaft is slightly too long for your setup, you can add washers between the movement and the dial to adjust the fit.
Hand Sizes
Choose the hand
size that best fits your dial layout. These are measured from the center hole
to the tip:
- 5-1/4" Hand: 7-1/2" overall length
- 6" Hand: 7-3/4" overall length
Tip: This movement has an
"I" shaft so most clock minute hands will work. If you need a
different size hand a standard clock hand is a good option. Hands larger
than 10” are not recommended,
- This movement is ideal for DIY clock repairs or
custom builds.
- No battery means fewer parts to maintain.
- It has a built-in hanger, but it doesn't have to be
used.
- Make sure your dial hole is the same or even a little
larger than the shaft diameter of 5/16"
