Charlie Ward is a former two-sport star who won the 1993 Heisman Trophy as quarterback at Florida State and played 11 seasons in the NBA, primarily with the New York Knicks. He is the only Heisman winner to play in the NBA. After his playing career, Ward transitioned to coaching and was hired as the head men's basketball coach at Florida A&M in April 2025.
