I believe this is the correct and was the standard issue wrench for the Ford GP / GPW Military Jeep tool kit’s as the 12" adjustable wrench. This wrench may have been also used for the other Military Jeeps as the Willys MB during the era.

This is a 12" adjustable wrench made by the Moore Drop Forging Tool Company. Moore was one of the major companies that supplied tools for Ford, even since the Ford Model T’s.

I believe the Moore Drop Forging Company was one of the manufacturers of tools for the Ford Military Jeeps and maybe other military vehicles.

I believe this to be the same wrench as the Federal stock # 41-W-449, Willys # A-377, Ford # GP-17021.

The wrench is embossed on the handle MOORE 12”. 

The wrench is 12" long, the jaw opens to 3 1/8", and has a 1 1/2” deep throat. The handle end is straight for cut out slot in the hub socket wrench.

The wrench is in good condition, shows little use…a couple of dings on moveable jaw backside…..…. The wrench has been cleaned and rubbed coated with semi-gloss black paint for protection, as with the vintage of the wrench there is some normal wear, a few dings, and some discoloration, as noted from the photos.
