Several years ago I purchased a small collection of SW Native American items that had been collected from various SW native craftspeople by an individual living in Taos NM- included were Navajo, Hopi, Zuni and Acoma items. Was told by the collector that he had purchased these during 1960-80's travels throughout the SW. This and a Zuni beaded couch were part of his collection.
To Buyer - Note condition description and "leave seller a message" if you wish me to attach/sew handle back on the detached side!
The basket is 2.25" long, 1.25" wide and .75" high to basket rim. handle is 3/8" wide and at center is 1.25" above basket rim.
Designs are SW style diamonds with a bead rim wrap. Design on basket bottom is especially attractive.
Not sure of craftsperson - Initials "ENH" - but there are several Zuni Surnames beginning with "H" including Halona, Homer, Hooee, Halusewa and Hughte... and Zuni common first names beginning with "E" include Emory, Elvis, Eldred, Esteban, Erma and Emma
